Having played a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the Saudi National Bank Group in his role as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the bank’s Executive Committee, Mr. Rashed Sharif was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of SNB Capital in February 2021.

Mr. Sharif brings with him a wealth of experience gained in the Capital Market sector, having previously served as the Head of Listing Department at the Capital Market Authority (“CMA”) for the period 2006-2013, then as Head of Investment Banking Division and later Chief Executive Officer in one of Saudi Arabia’s other prestigious Capital Market Institutions, before his most recent role as Head of Local Holding Investments in the Public Investment Fund (“PIF”) from 2017 – end of 2020.

He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors in numerous companies, including some of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent and admired companies – the Saudi Electricity Company, Saudi Telecom Company and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).

Mr. Sharif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a Master’s of Business Administration from Prince Sultan University. He has completed a number of executive development programs including “High Performance Leaders” and “High Performance Boards” from IMD.

Abdullah is the Chief Financial Officer in SNB Capital; with over 14 years of experience in the financial field. Abdullah joined SNB Capital in 2014 where he assumed several responsibilities in planning & reporting, performance analytics, and lastly as head of Financial Accounting.

Prior to joining SNB Capital, Abdullah started his professional career with SABIC and then Siemens and Saudi Aramco until the year 2014; where he covered a wide range of tasks in investments and financial planning.

Abdullah holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Stetson University, USA. He also holds CMA and SOCPA certificates.

 Abdullah Alghursan was appointed as Chief Legal and Governance Officer at SNB Capital in November 2023. Abdullah has over 20 years of experience in the field of banking services, securities, rules and regulations in addition to corporate governance.

Prior to joining SNB Capital, Abdullah has held key positions such as Chief of Legal, Governance and Compliance (LG&C) & Board Secretary at Riyadh Capital, and previously at Samba Capital. He also held managerial positions in the Capital Market Authority (CMA), where he was seconded to the United States' Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Subsequently, he founded the Investor Protection Department at the CMA and developed its mandates.

Abdullah holds a Master's degree in Law from the "Arab East Colleges", the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a Master's Degree of Science in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, United States of America. In addition, he holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, King Saud University. 

Abdulrahman Al-Mashal was appointed as SNB Capital Chief-of-Staff in October 2023. Abdulrahman is a seasoned financial services industry professional, with over 15 years of experience.

He has a strong background in investment products, business strategy, and regulatory policy. Prior to joining SNB Capital, Abdulrahman held several positions in key institutions in both the public and private sectors such as Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Riyad Capital for five years, Head of Public Investment Funds, Chairman's Advisor, Vice-Chairman of the Capital Markets Institutions Committee in the Capital Market Authority (CMA). 

He holds a Master's degree in Finance & Investment from the University of Nottingham, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Hull, UK.

Dana Al Husseini was appointed as the Chief Human Capital Officer at SNB Capital in January 2024. With over 17 years of experience in talent management and human resources, within 12 years at SNB Capital, Dana managed to implement comprehensive talent management strategies and establish strategic partnerships to develop human resources, build the organizational culture, enhance performance, manage change, and increase employee engagement in the company.

Dana holds a BA in French Literature from King Abdulaziz University, kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and an MSc in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, United States, specializing in Leadership Management, Change Management, and Global Organizational Studies.

Ehab Reda was appointed to the position of Chief Audit Officer at SNB Capital in May 2024. Ehab holds over 26 years of diverse experience in global banking, including in specialities such as balance sheet management, treasury, global markets, hedge funds, and private equity.

Before joining SNB Capital, Ehab was the Head of Treasury & Global Markets Audit at SNB, where he led internal audit programs across critical sectors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Ehab has held several prominent positions, including Program Director Treasury at Samba Financial Group, Director of Institutional Sales in Global Markets at HSBC Bank, and Director of Institutional and Global Corporate Sales at Standard Chartered Bank. His extensive track record in the banking sector has equipped him with expertise in FXO trading, commodity structuring, and various derivatives products.

Ehab holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Leicester, UK, and a Bachelor of Accounting from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.

Ali Al Marzouki is the Chief Compliance Officer at SNB Capital Company. He is responsible for overseeing and managing compliance issues for all of SNB Capital's businesses, in addition to playing an advisory role to various SNB Capital businesses, Committees and the Board of Directors.

Ali is also responsible for enhancing the firm's compliance culture and managing regulatory risk in order to protect the firm's reputation, capital, investments and clients. In addition, he participated in developing many products and services for the Company and sits in a number of internal and external committees. He is responsible for liaison with local and international regulatory bodies.Ali is an experienced compliance professional with over ten years of hand-on experience in the regulatory field and as a specialist within asset management, wealth management, private banking, investment banking and brokerage.

Ali holds an MBA and a BA degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from King Abdulaziz University, with a number of executive certifications from several international institutions, such as Pennsylvania State University.

Faisal was appointed as Chief Operating Officer SNB Capital in December 2021.  He has over 21 years of experience in the financial industry.  Prior to SNB Capital, Faisal was the Chief Operating Officer for Samba Capital.  Prior to that he was the COO of Al Rajhi Capital and COO of Al Bilad Capital.

He was the Senior Vice president in charge for operations in Saudi Arabia where he set up the operation business further more from 2004 to 2008 was in charge of operations at Al Awal Capital. Prior to joining Al Awal Capital, he was handling mutual funds at Samba Asset Management operations. 

Mr. Al-Ansi was a board member of many of the local, GCC and real estate funds and member of internal and external committees. Faisal graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Central State University, Florida, USA - 2003.  In addition, he has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia - 2015.

Khaled Al Braikan was appointed as Head of Asset Management for SNB Capital in March 2014, after joining the firm as Head of Institutional Mandates in early 2013. He has over 15 years of multi-asset portfolio management experience, where he has served government & semi-government institutions, regional sovereign wealth funds, Saudi and regional family offices, and UHNW individuals. Khaled possesses in depth knowledge of the GCC and global capital markets where he has sailed through multiple business cycles. Khaled is also a recipient of several prestigious performance awards for his achievements in the capital markets.

Prior to SNB Capital, Khaled spent over 3 years with HSBC Saudi Arabia as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He also served SAMBA Capital's equity portfolio management area for over 7 years, where his last position was Assistant General Manager.

Khaled graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration specialization in Finance from King Saud University in Riyadh in 2000. Khaled has also attended multiple strategy level courses in prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, USA.

Lloyd Kawara is Head of Risk Management; he was hired as Vice President of Market Risk of SNB Capital in February 2015. Prior to that he worked at the African Development Bank where he was Principal Treasury Risk Officer, managing counterparty risk, market risk, investment and asset liability risks, and he has over 13 years banking experience, of which 9 years were spent in senior risk management roles within the region including as Chief Risk Officer for Bank Alkhair BSC Bahrain and Head of Risk for Bahrain Middle East Bank and Risk Management Officer with Riyad Bank.

Lloyd is a CFA charterholder, a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) with Global Association of Risk Professionals (USA), a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst with CAIA (USA) and an Associate Chartered Management Accountant with CIMA (UK).

Loai Bafaqeeh has been Head of Securities & Acting Chief Techonolgy at SNB Capital . In his current role Loai has successfully introduced a new platform and products, redefined the business strategy and increased profitability.  Prior to his current role, Loai was CEO of the Quality of Life part of the Vision 2030 Program and before that he led the Microsoft Arabia operation, with a remit that also included Public Sector sales and marketing. While at Microsoft Loai worked and implemented many transformational projects with the Saudi Government.

Previous roles include Head of Marketing at SNB Capital covering Investment Services, Brokerage, Investment Banking and Asset Management and he began his career at Procter & Gamble where he worked in the healthcare, food and beverage and fem care sectors.Loai has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from King Abdul-Aziz University in Saudi and an MBA from the Arabic Academy for Science and Technology.

Mohammed is currently the head of Wealth Management Division at SNB Capital. He has an extensive experience of more than 25 years in the investment and Banking industry. 

Mohammed joined SNB back in 1994 as part of the investment department and has moved around playing different roles within the investment and retail banking divisions.  He then moved to SNB Capital at inception of the firm and headed several segments before leading the Wealth Management Division early 2021.

Naif Al-Saif was appointed as Head of Principal Investment and funding SNB Capital in July 2021.  He has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.  Prior to SNB Capital, Naif was the acting Chief Executive Officer for Samba Capital. Prior to that he held the position of Treasurer at Samba Financial Group, before he held the Head of Fixed Income & Money Market Desk and Chief Dealer Samba London Treasury – Samba Financial Group. 

Naif graduated with a Master in Business Administration (Finance Major), Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, 2015, and Bachelor in Finance and Economy Science, King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, 2003.

Zaid has over 30 years of experience in the areas of Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Business/Debt Restructuring. Mr. Ghoul was the Head of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Samba Capital (SC) and joined the merged entity of NCBC/SC to lead the Investment Banking practice at SNB Capital.  Mr. Ghoul advised on several strategic transactions covering equity/debt capital markets, M&A, structured finance, privatization, turnaround and debt restructuring. Prior to joining Samba Capital, he ran his consulting practice which focused on strategically supporting large GCC family businesses in raising and restructuring debt, enhancing the efficiency of operations and growing their businesses.

He also held senior positions as CFO for a leading Real Estate Company in Dubai, where he led the financing effort for key real estate projects, and as CIO for a privately owned Investment Conglomerate, where he managed a public and private equity investment portfolio of over US$1 billion spread over the GCC and Egypt.

He worked for Arthur Andersen and then Ernst & Young Middle East Corporate Finance & Lead Advisory practice, and for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Equity Partner where he co-led the Middle East Business Recovery Services practice. Zaid graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Economics & Statistics, University of Jordan, 1991. In addition, he is Certified Public Accountant (CPA), USA, 1993 and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, USA, 2003.
